Our Mission
Purpose of why an institution stands : God designed that the institution which He should establish should stand forth as a beacon of light, of warning and reproof. He would prove to the world that an institution conducted on religious principles, as an asylum for the sick, could be sustained without sacrificing its peculiar, holy character; that it could be kept free from the objectionable features found in other health institutions. It was to be an instrumentality for bringing about great reform. -vol 6 Testimonies pg 223
Spread knowledge of right principals: A responsibility to spread the knowledge of right principals rests upon all who have received the light. This responsibility should be felt by every man and woman who claim to be a seventh-day adventists, and much more by an important part of the Lord's great work for the salvation of souls. Let it be the aim of all to be and example. They should feel a personal responsibility to send forth men and women as fully instructed as possible, prepared to exert a direct and saving forth men and women as communities, and the churches to which they go. This would be the very best recommendation that any of our institutions could have. - Special Testimony to managers and workers in our Institution… (pamphlets 088,4.1)
